Guido Elsen is the founder and Managing Director of e.con and a specialist in combustion optimization for coal-fired power plants. With a background in the steel and energy industries, he has been working as an independent engineer since 2000, focusing on sustainable energy solutions. Beate Elsen is the Marketing Director at e.con. She oversees the company’s visual identity and digital communication, supported by Johanna Elsen, who contributes to website design and media content.​​

"I come from a second generation of heavy Engineers in Germany working worldwide in building steel mills, heavy rolling equipment and gas-fired furnaces. I was born in 1960 in Wuppertal and graduated from high school in 1980. I studied mechanical engineering at the Dual University of Lörrach. Since 1997 I have been married and have two children. After holding several professional positions in the steel and later in the power-producingindustry, I became self-employedin 2000 and have been working on combustion optimization in coal power plants ever since.“
